Is It Friday Yet?
Those of you with multiple blogs or private blogs...if you could add your link to the Fill-Ins, that would be GREAT! Questions 1 and 2 this week are courtesy of Sherry; thanks!
Here we go:
1. If I could travel back in time, I'd go to 1930 or thereabouts when the Doctor overcame the Daleks attempt to create a hybrid race using human DNA.
2. Give me a full night's sleep or give me another round of raspberry ice.
3. I am listening to my husband mutter at his online game and the sound of me typing on my keypad.
4. Somewhere, someone is thinking, "What was it I was supposed to remember?
5. I'll always be wondering why I never read that book, especially since "that" book changes regularly.
6. My idea of a good time includes reading a good book, taking in a movie, enjoying dinner out, being healthy and spending time with my husband and furkids.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to a quiet evening since everyone will be drugged (after a day at the vets' for shots); tomorrow my plans include continuing to be a pin cushion for the kitty; and Sunday, I want to repeat Saturday all over again!
I apologize for not being more social this week and stopping in to visit your blogs. I have a good excuse, I promise. Tomorrow you'll find out why. Happy August!

Oooh, good choice on the time travel. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm puzzling over #1..
ReplyDeletehave a good weekend!
#2 sounds good to me, Wendy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday and I hope you've a great weekend. :D
I've been thinking "What was I supposed to remember?" all day. You definitely got that right!
ReplyDeleteOooo... I love Saturdays! :D
ReplyDeleteI have an award for you and I hope it'll brighten your weekend.
My husband does the same thing! He will actually put on his headphones rather than listen to me type. I think he's just jealous because I type faster than he does. ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
My #4 was along the same lines as yours...and YOUR #4 is something I think all the time! I have had to become the queen of "notes to self" in self-defense :-).
ReplyDeleteI am curious about learning your "excuse" tomorrow - I've missed your visits this week!
That someone who's thinking "what was I supposed to remember?" is probably me!! LOL! Have a good weekend! :D
ReplyDeleteHAhah my boyfriend would probably agree with you about the Doctor Who one!
ReplyDeleteHa ha--I like the idea of being a pin cushion for the kitty (well, maybe not the real idea as it might hurt). My cat is declawed (I know, the cruelty! but she never goes outside ever ever ever and I give her a good scratchin' when she needs it).
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your Friday fill-ins, always interesting:)
ReplyDeletemmm..raspberry ice! #4 and 5 made me smile! As for not remembering, I just went into the other room to get something but couldn't remember what it was, came back out, remembered and went back to get it! Sigh.
ReplyDeleteWhile a lot of people would wreck their mind and effort to create something special, I agree with you that doing ordinary, simple things can be good time as well. Anything that involves a book would do for me! How about a walk on the beach?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. :)
Janiejane - It's kind of obvious what I've been watching lately, isn't it? ;-)
ReplyDeleteLisa - It's from the 3rd Season of Dr. Who, my husband's and my current favorite show. I hope you are enjoying your weekend!
Melody - I'm still waiting for that full night of sleep. :-) I hope you have a good weekend too!
Nikki - I seem to wonder that a lot lately. :-S
Alice - Saturdays are grand! Thank you for the award! You are too nice to me!
Trisha - My husband usually has his headphones on too. I think he forgets I can hear him. :-) I hope you have a great weekend too!
Florinda - I have to write myself reminders too sometimes. I should start writing down where I set my glasses when I come in. Why I can't put them in the same place, I will never know.
Ladybug - Me too! Haha I hope you had a good weekend.
Monica - It's a fun show, even sometimes a bit over the top. :-)
Trish - Her nails are still so tiny that it hasn't been too bad--especially now that she's had a trim. I have quite a few scratches on my hand thanks to her though. Little love scratches. :-)
Julie - Thanks!
Nat - I seem to have a thing for raspberries right now. :-) Don't you hate it when that happens--forgetting what you went into the other room for? That happened to me just yesterday.
Matt - A walk on the beach would be lovely! Or a stroll along a mountain trail in the summer . . . I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
