I love the clouds in the middle picture!
ReplyDeleteI agree, in that second picture, the clouds don't even look real!
ReplyDeleteAh, yes. The picture of the 'welcome to...' sign. I do that on every road trip.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, Wendy. I've enjoyed peeking in along your travels.

Of course I would notice the contrail in photo #3.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Pretty clouds...the kind my mom loved.
Like Sandy and Kathy, I love the clouds!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the second pic!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
The middle picture is probably my favorite. We'll be driving through New Mexico on the way home from our roadtrip, but only the most northeastern corner. New Mexico isn't my favorite state to drive through--lots of miles of the same scenery.
ReplyDeleteWhere were you headed?
Love that middle picture! So very cool.
ReplyDeleteJust dropping in to tell you that Shellie of Layers of Thought gave me an award and I'm passing it on to you! Stop by the post to grab the button and check out the instructions.
ReplyDeletepretty.
ReplyDeleteMakes me want to hit the road!
we drove through (and stopped in) new mexico on our road trip in 2007. it was absolutely beautiful...and while we were driving we saw double rainbows in the sky. just a gorgeous state...truly. love your pics.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the welcome sign.
ReplyDeleteThe open stretch of road stretching beneath the vast expanse of clouds in the second picture is just beautiful. It's one of those pictures that reminds you of how vast the world can seem.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this series of photos, Wendy!
ReplyDeleteI just love the middle one. Such a pretty sky!
ReplyDeleteLove that beautiful blue sky! :)
ReplyDeletenice! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, everyone! I'll be posting more photos of New Mexico tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised at how unexciting the welcome signs to each of the states were on our trip. I would have expected something bigger and more noticeable.
The hospital photo is only in there because we had to make a quick stop at the emergency room while in town. It was a milestone for our trip, I guess you could say. :-)
Trish - You asked where we were headed. At that point, we were heading back home.
