1. My back still gives me trouble now and then.
2. The thunder last night drove my animals wild.
3. Leaves are falling all around, but the temperature keeps rising. Summer won't let go.
4. I haven't had too many problems with forgetfulness since becoming pregnant; clumsiness is another issue.
5. Healing is sometimes a long and difficult process.
6. Dodging reaching hands, craving sweets, and taking bets on the gender of my baby is what I've been up to lately!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to kicking off my shoes and cuddling on the couch with my husband and animals; tomorrow my plans include taking Anya to the vet to have her red cell level checked and then it's off to work I go; and Sunday, I want to take full advantage of my one free day this weekend!

ReplyDeleteMy husband may be working late tonight, or going in this weekend, or both, or neither. We don't know yet - it's only Friday afternoon :-/. His job's been crazy for the last month or so, and no letup in sight. I have two days off, though :-).

Trish - It was a nice day off. This weekend I'm making up for last with a four day weekend. :-)
Lisa - LOL That's the consensus right now. I think there's only one bet in for the baby being a girl. We may find out today, depending on how things go at the doctor's. My big ultrasound is coming up in two weeks, so we might have to wait until then.
Iliana - Thank you, Iliana! I haven't been out of the closet for too long so you haven't missed much. :-)
Florinda - Oh no! I hope your husband didn't have to work too much over or in end up going in on the weekend. :-(
ReplyDeleteWe do want to know the gender ahead of time--at least I do. Hubby's going along with me grudgingly because he doesn't think I'll be able to keep the secret.

Staci - The temperatures cooled down considerably this week, which was nice. I kept missing the rain though. It didn't rain much, but I never seemed to catch it when it was raining.
Julia - Thanks, Julia! Some moments of the pregnancy have been more enjoyable than others, but I'm very happy overall. :-)
Well, besides working over the weekend (I've just finished some half an hour ago), I'm visiting my favorite bloggers now (you being one of them, of course). :D
