Ooh, they're lovely! I wish I've kept mine! ;)
ReplyDeleteWOW amazing that your mom held on to these; they look great too.
ReplyDeleteOh...a baby girl! How Exciting!
ReplyDeleteI didn't have any clothes to hand down, but I did have a few favorite blankets and books that my mom gave me to give to my daughter.
You must be on top of the world! That is so special you saved some of your childhood clothing! Unfortunately the little I have of mine are yellowed and crumbly. I'm too old!
ReplyDeleteDAUGHTER!!!! Oh Wendy! I'm so so so excited for you. :D and how sweet that you still have some of your baby clothes. Sadly I think ours were used for doll clothes and have since gone by the wayside.
ReplyDeleteThey're lovely! What a wonderful heritage. Maybe they'll last for your granddaughters, too...
ReplyDeleteI have to confess, the slightly old-fashioned type on the baby book cover made me choke up a bit. Typefaces really evoke times for me.
Wonderful! How nice to be able to hand these down from one generation to another!
ReplyDeleteIt's a girl?!! Congratulations, Wendy (and Anjin)!
ReplyDeleteI've saved a few things of my son's for an eventual grandson. I probably won't have one :-). I love the fact that one of the hand-me-downs is a book!
This is very lovely, Wendy! They're kept in tip top condition. Such beautiful treasures. I'm so happy for you and the baby!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful clothes and congratulations to you! What an exciting time, you and Anjin must be so thrilled. I'm not actually sure whether my mother has my baby clothes or not, but it must be so nice to have something of yours that your baby can have right away.
ReplyDeleteHow cool that your Mom kept those for you and that you get to dress your baby in them.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful Wendy!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ladies! My mom brought this down with her on her last visit in September. At the time, I wasn't sure whether I was having a girl or a boy.
ReplyDeleteAnjin and I were thrilled to discover that we are having a girl. Either would have been fine, of course, but knowing makes it all the more real.
Some of the clothes my mom brought with her didn't survive time as well. Pictured above are my favorites. Also included in the box was my bikini--so tiny!
Oh, what a wonderful gift from your mother!
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful that your Mom kept those. Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteaww...they are so cute. Your mother was awesome to keep those.
ReplyDeleteWendy, I'm so excited for you. Baby girls are the best! The clothes look beautiful. My mom made all of mine into doll clothes sadly.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, it made me want to cry to see your baby clothes that your mom kept for so many years. It made the clothing so much special when your daughter wear them :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing a childhood part of you :)
I loved being able to dress my daughter in my baby clothes; she was baptized in the same dress I wore. Very exciting that you have these to hand down!
ReplyDeleteawwww...so sweet!!

How wonderful that you can pass these things on to your own daughter!
ReplyDeleteYou were a well-dressed baby! I've got some of my clothing in the attic, but I had boys. Maybe I can pass them on to a grandchild, someday . . .
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful! Hope you are doing great Wendy :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and adorable! It's such fun to shop for a baby girl, there are so many wonderful outfits. Many years ago when my cousin was born, I used to shop with her mom and we had so much fun picking out clothes for her to wear!
ReplyDeleteI think it's wonderful that your daughter will be able to wear some of your baby clothes. Your mom did a terrific job keeping them safe all these years.
This is so exciting, Wendy!

So sweet!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments! My mother-in-law said that a friend of hers has clothes for us as well. My daughter will have plenty to wear, no doubt. LOL
