(Mouse made sure to put toys on the tree so the cats would have something to play with. She added a few of the cat toys and a few of her own she wanted to share.)

Too cute! I bet she had lots of fun helping and your cats will love it :)
ReplyDeleteSamantha - Mouse had a a great time. She loves helping her dad with projects like this. :-)
DeleteOurs isn't quite so fancy, but Bryce Eleanor still uses it...sometimes with the cats. I find her toys in the cubby as often as the Triad's balls and mice!
ReplyDeleteJenclair - Mouse likes to use the "shelves" for her books. :-) The cats are still not sure what to think of it, but they are slowly starting to use it.
DeleteHow sweet! She looks so serious about helping to build the tree.
ReplyDeleteKathy - She takes her work very seriously. LOL
DeleteOh look, Mouse built a cat tower all by herself!
ReplyDeleteLisa - She's very talented and smart. LOL
DeleteWhat great pictures! I love how focused she is on getting everything put together! How sweet she wanted to share her toys too. I hope the cat gets as much enjoyment out of it!
ReplyDeleteKatherine - Mouse wasn't too happy with me when she caught me removing some of her bigger toys off the cat tree. I explained to her that the cats needed room to jump, and she seemed to accept that. :-)
DeleteThat looks so awesome! I love it when kids get so involved in fun house projects!
ReplyDeleteAthira - We're trying to take advantage of her help while she's still interested in doing these kinds of projects with us. :-)
DeleteAwesome! She's growing up so fast.
ReplyDeleteCarrie - She is! I need to measure her height again. I'm pretty sure she's grown again.
DeleteSO cute!!
ReplyDeleteMolly - Thank you!
DeleteShe's so cute! Thanks for sharing the pics with us! :)
ReplyDeleteMelody - I think so too. :-)
DeleteWhat fun! We are currently cat-less, but we are planning to get a cat this fall. I would love to have a cat tree like that!
ReplyDeleteMelinda - Cat trees tend to be very expensive and so I kept my eye out for a really good sale. I hear they are easy to make from scratch, but I have never tried it.
DeleteOh that's fun! I've always looked at the store ones and thought they're not complex enough (or maybe I've just had cats who get bored quickly). Yours looks pretty great :)
ReplyDeleteCharlie - This is one I found in a store. I don't imagine my cats will play on it much, but rather use it as a napping spot. :-)
DeleteShe is totally focused on the task at hand! Way to go, Mouse!
ReplyDeleteTi - It turned out to be a good project for her. She's at the age where she loves helping. :-)
DeleteThat's really great! I bet Mouse had a wonderful time doing that with you. I'm sure my daughters would love to build something like that for our kitties.
ReplyDeleteA.M.B. - It was a fun project for us--but was over too short. I'm trying to talk my husband into refinishing my grandmother's old magazine holder and having Mouse help him. She'd probably enjoy doing that--and I would get something out of it in the end too!
DeleteHow cute is she!
ReplyDeleteNaida - She's so serious! :-)
DeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteStacy - The cats are finally starting to accept it as their own and use it. Whew!
