Top Tuesday: My Favorite Novels Featuring Love Stories that Stole my Heart

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely Jana at The Artsy Reader Girl.


This week's Top Ten Tuesday topic is the Love Freebie and after much consideration, I thought I would go through my five paw reviews and share some of My Favorite Novels Featuring Love Stories that Stole my Heart, whether the main story line or just one on the side, but still prominent, some tragic and others with happy endings.

  1. I am listening to Pride and Prejudice at the moment, and enjoying it! It's had some really funny parts which kind of surprised me!

  2. These look good. I love Pride and Prejudice. I also enjoyed Fingersmith more than I thought I would! It had sat on my shelf for years and I decided to read it last year or maybe before that 🤣

  6. I have read The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches and A Wedding in December and enjoyed them both. I need to read Pride and Prejudice. I have probably seen half a dozen movies of it or based on it, but never read it. Nice list, Wendy.

  7. I love Pride and Prejudice. It's one of those books that I love more the more times I read it! I remember that I thought Fingersmith was amazing when I read it long ago.

  13. I've read the Sonali Dev series and Heather Fawcett's Emily Wilde. I really liked the first trilogy of Hidden Legacy (Nevada and Rogan) by Ilona Andrews, as well as Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress (Cat and Bones)

  17. I love the variety of books you chose this week! The only one I've read is The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, but I adored that book! I keep meaning to read Fingersmith - I haven't finished any Sarah Waters books yet and really should! Great post!

  25. Emily Wilde would have been on my list too if I'd made one. Who can resist Wendell? 😂 and I adore the dynamic between them both. The Song Of Achilles is a must read for me this year and I saw the witches book on another list during the week too, definitely going to ha e to check that out sometime. Hopefully this will also be the year that I finally read Pride & Prejudice.

    Lovely list. It looks like you've found some fantastic love stories within some fairly varied books.
